Lagos, Ibadan and Kano among most active African cities on Twitter

Lagos, Ibadan and Kano have been named among the most active African cities on social networking site,Twitter.

Lagos was ranked 11th, Kano 13th while Ibadan occupied the 14^th position on the list compiled in a report titled ‘How Africa Tweets’, conducted by Portland Communication.

The report named Johannesburg in South Africa the most active city in Africa, with 344,215 geo-located tweets during Q4 2013.
