Reports from the northeastern Nigerian state of Borno say suspected Boko
Haram insurgents have returned to a village they attacked a week ago
and burnt it to the ground. The Islamists killed about a-hundred people
when they raided the village of Izge. The town had been deserted since
then, with residents taking refuge in neighbouring Adamawa state.
